This is the worst customer service I've seen in a while from Microsoft. Just imagine, you're sending an email to 86 email addresses as your community HOA secretary (which you do 1-2 times a year) and you get a message that Outlook is blocking you from sending because they're trying to prevent spammers. This is my after-work volunteer gig... and you're blocking us Microsoft? If this isn't a reason to switch go Gmail, I don't know what is. If this isn't resolved soon, you'll only be left with corporate clients. I'm not even close to approaching sending to 500 email addresses a day and it's still blocking me. Major fail Microsoft.
How to overcome the outlook daily email limit
u********@outlook.com
Good MorningI am trying to send a newsletter to 850 of my customers and it stops after 25 with the message that I have exceeded my daily limit. 25!!!!??? I have updated to Office 365 as it says this: "Microsoft 365's email sending limits for Outlook include up to 10,000 email sends per day, 500 recipients per single email send, and 30 email sends per minute".Still the same result. This is really frustrating! What is the solution please?PS I updated to Office 365 on my Windows PC as I read that it would solve the problem of HTML mailmerge still not working after 6 years! It didn't, so I am doing it from my Apple Macbook. It sends HTML format but now I have hit the sending limit. If this was a scam to get me to upgrade to 365 then I will be cancelling my subscription!Thank you for your reply as I am going from one problem to another and cannot get this job done!Chris Tattersall

2024-11-01T16:07:21+00:00 What an utterly unhelpful response. We are a charity with a database of over 500 hundred clients. We are being prevented from doing the work that the Charities Commission expect us to do. We have made an official complaint to them about, not only your restriction, but your inability to address the issues that all the people in this thread have raised.
Our Trustees now want us to raise this complaint officially with Microsoft and other organsiations in light of the financial impact your restrictions are having.
At the very least, you should be prevented from responding to issues that paying customers of Microsoft have, with a reply that is essentially saying 'we are unable to help you because we are unable to help you.'

2024-10-03T20:25:48+00:00 I HAD TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT! I now have a better solution. Purchase APPLE COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THE CHILDISH APPROACHES OF PEOPLE FROM MICROSOFT!-ESPECIALLY SOME FROM BANANA REPUBLIC.
THE PLATFORM IS PROBABLY OK, BUT PEOPLE WORKING THERE WITH SHORT TEMPER BOSSY ATTITUDES ARE DESTROYING GOOD COOPERATION!
