I am not receiving emails on my iPhone or iPad.

Since yesterday afternoon, I have been unable to receive emails on my iPhone. There are no emails at all in any folder.

The message appears that there is an Account Error, followed by Cannot Get Mail - connection to the server failed.

I have restarted the phone and deleted the account several times.

Everything else on my phone is working as normal.

I rarely use my iPad, but I checked that too and there have been no emails received since about a month ago.

I lost access to my emails on about 26th september 2024 on my i-phone SE 6 and dont know how to regain access. I was warned by an email from Microsoft that this might happen after the 16th september but didnt know how to take action. I am 86 yrs old and find this most distressing. Can anyone help me please?

    Hello Mark,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. My name is Arjay and I'm happy to assist you.

I understand you are having issues receiving emails on your iOS devices. Let's try to isolate the issue first. Could you please sign in through webmail and check if the same issue happens?

If you were able to send emails through webmail, the issue is likely related to just your Outlook mobile app or the Mail app on your devices. There are a couple of troubleshooting steps we can perform to resolve the issue. Below are the steps to follow:

    1. Open your Outlook mobile app.
    2. Access the Menu icon at the top left of your Inbox and tap on Settings ⚙ at the bottom.
    3. Tap on 'Accounts' and then select your email account.
    4. Click 'Reset Account'.

Please also make sure that you have the latest version of Outlook mobile installed by checking for any available updates in your Appstore.

I hope my information was helpful. Let me know if you need any further help.

    Regards, Arjay O.
