Greetings all:

Since a wee, I get to see this:

What the heck is this, and how do I get permanently rid of this, please?
It just gets back, if I delete it, and stays there.

Thank you aforehand:
Ben

    Dear Ben

    Thank you for your reply.

Anyway, it's best that you were able to solve your problem.

Thank you for keeping your sanity during the exchange, no doubt that was very helpful in solving the problem.

We don't have to go deeper into the solution to the problem, I would say of all the methods, the one that solves the problem is the good one.

I'm sure there will be many new problems in the future for both you and me, but as long as we keep a good mindset, there are always more solutions than difficulties.

I think we've got a final solution to your problem in the current thread, and thank you very much for your affirmation and recognition, you can click “Yes” or “No” under any of my replies to rate me, thank you for your support.

If you have any other questions in the future, you are always welcome to come to the community and Create a new question or start a discussion.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

    Regards,

Sorry for the late reply, thank you for responding.

    Dear Ben

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the pain and frustration you are experiencing. Your feelings are completely understandable and it is normal to experience mood swings when experiencing technical problems and inconveniences.

Thank you for sharing your experience so that everyone in the community can better understand your needs.

Regarding the advertisement issue you mentioned, I understand that this is particularly distressing for you, especially when your health and emotions are challenged. The distraction of ads can really impact the user experience, especially if you have already paid for the software.

I also understand that you may be frustrated, especially if feedback is not responded to.

Thank you very much for your consideration and regards. Again, I apologize for your poor experience.

Finally, I wish you good health and all the best.

    Regards,

    Hardyjoe.J

Sir, you're the first to show understanding in the frustrations I have had with MS in general, and I thank you for this.
Often, I get told, to back down, as if it is just normal.
Which, go figure, also is frustrating, of course.

It is insanely annoying that I cannot contact MS itself.
If I could, I would, instead of venting my anger here on the forum.
I do not like to, but I cannot turn anywhere else ... which saddens me.

    Now, on the good side:
The reason I took a while to respond, is, I went deep-diving, and managed finally to kill of that bloody ad.
Took me quite a bit, but it is GONE.

Now, I will not say how I did this, because, well ... it was a bit ... well ... "unorthodox", let me put it like that.
But, if I am right, it will be the last ever I saw this blasted thing.

I am so very grateful for the way you responded, sir.
    You have my utmost respect!
You are an example for many, and that is the truth.

    Kindest regards:
    Ben

Thank you for replying, good sir.

I'm sure there will be many new problems in the future for both you and me, but as long as we keep a good mindset, there are always more solutions than difficulties.

I am baffled that MS gets away with all these things.
I mean, many of them are not even lawful?

Alas, since Win 7, MS went in reverse, quality, stability, user friendliness, and general ideology.
I thought to install a Win 7 "2023" rework, but I was unsure how well it would be, compared to the original.
    Or, safe.

Truly saddening, Win 7 was the best ever Win version, and I SO long for it ... .

Triste sed verum, loqui cum Metallica.

(Sad but true, to speak with Metallica.)

    Thank you again, good sir.
And you deserve an absolute yes. :)

    Thank you for responding, sir.

You can eliminate these ads by subscribing to any of the Microsoft 365 products, but it's up to you.

I have MSOffice LTSC 2024 Pro+ (From the company work for, bought for all the employees that need it for work.), but I hate to fire up Outlook to get to my mails.
I therefore use the "Web Form" through Edge, as MSEdge is always open.

Seeing I have MSOffice LTSC 2024 Pro+, I do not have to see it, and I want that blasted advertisement gone, it irritates me immensely.

Could you please help me with this?

    Thank you very much:
    Ben

    Dear Ben

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand you have some questions about what's displayed in Outlook.com.

Thank you for providing detailed questions and pictures. I think the picture in your picture should be an advertisement.

I recognize it by the position of the Remove button. Generally speaking, the Remove button of an advertisement is on the left and the normal email is on the right end.

You can see what the advertisement looks like in the picture below:

The reason for the ads is that we use free Microsoft email accounts (Outlook & Hotmail, etc.)

The ads can be temporarily deleted, but once the page is refreshed, they will appear again.

You can eliminate these ads by subscribing to any of the Microsoft 365 products, but it's up to you.

For more information about Outlook ads, you can refer to:

I hope my explanations and instructions can help you. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Hardyjoe.J|Microsoft Community Support Specialist
