Adding an HTML signtature to Outlook

Good morning,

I am trying to update my HTML signature in Outlook. The HTML signature is perfect and I am happy with it, so it is just the matter of changing the signature in Outlook that I am battling with.

I have gone to Create a New Message, then selected Signatures and am at the stage where I create a New Signature. I have created a new signature name, and in the text box I have pasted the HTML code (I opened the HTML code on my browser and copied that and pasted it into the text box) but the code does not display the signature, but displays as the HTML code start with https://......

I do not know how to get it from the HTML format to the 'signature'

If you could please assist.

Regards

Tarryn

I have the same question. I had no idea gmail could not handle my outlook signature. It is fine from Gmail to Outlook but not from outlook to gmail. Absolute mess. And needn't be. Outlook and Gmail - figure it out. You're billion-dollar companies and something so simple that looks so bad. Tried pasting HTML - doesn't work. Then the Outlook signature looks stupid.

What is the solution - I actually can't believe we are having to write to have something solved that should never have been a problem in the first place :(

This doesn't work. Pasting the HTML code in the text box only displayed the HTML code as the signature.

Same issue for me. When I paste the HTML code into the edit signature area it does not get rendered and the raw HTML tags are displayed instead

    Dear Tarryn,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

To add an HTML signature to Outlook for Mac, you need to follow these steps:

    1. Open Outlook and go to the "Outlook" menu at the top of the screen.
    2. Select "Preferences" and then "Signatures".
    3. Click the "+" button to create a new signature.
    4. Give your signature a name and then paste the HTML code into the text box.
    5. Click "OK" to save your new signature.

If the HTML code is not displaying correctly, you may need to make sure that it is formatted correctly. You can use an HTML editor to check the code and make sure that it is valid. Additionally, make sure that any images or links in the signature are hosted on a public server and are accessible to anyone who receives your emails.

    I hope this helps!
