Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
We have users in Canada that are also facing the same issue. Definitely not Europe only.

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
After the most recent update (I did it on 10th of October 2024) my outlook is unusable. I leaks memory until it has taken all of my system memory and the computer bluescreens. It is happening to several of my employees.

Dear Calle Borg,
Good day!
Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.
Based on your post regarding "My Outlook app started eating up system memory (was up to 7gb just now) after I updated Outlook".
It's a known issue from Microsoft and I attached details.
Title: Some users in Europe may encounter performance issues with their Outlook client
User impact: Users in Europe may encounter performance issues with their Outlook client.
More info: Users may notice Outlook using an increased amount of resource utilization, causing the client to freeze or crash.
Current status: We're investigating telemetry logs provided by impacted customers, as well as continuing to analyze service telemetry further to identify the root cause so that we can develop our remediation plan. We've recycled components which has reduced timeout errors, and are now analyzing diagnostics for Outlook client and Outlook on the web.
Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure in Europe.

HI,
I'm experiencing the same issue right now with the web version of outlook (new).
I'm working on a Dell Precision 3580, and I'm on the dev canal of the Windows insider program.
Are you perhaps on the insider program as well ?
Outlook seems to leaks memory regardless of any action done by the user. Opening the app is enough to cause the issue.
Here is my Microsoft Outlook version : 1.2024.1002.100Client version : 20240927008.18
