When I click to reply to a message and begin a draft email and then double click the email to open in full screen, it does not open the draft. I have to go to the draft folder to open the message.

Not sure if anyone ever officially answered this, but basically instead of double clicking (which is now an issue), click the "pop-out" button on the top right, and it opens as the draft instead of the original.

    Dear Tony Beaubouef

Thanks a lot for your feedback and patience!

Based on the information provided, since your issue occurred both in outlook desktop client and OWA(outlook web app), it means that your problem is with the backend of the server, since our forums lack relevant permissions and tools, in order to better help you and not waste more of your time, please kindly try to create a service ticket in the Microsoft 365 admin center****to support > service requests through navigation, as they have more access permissions than on this forum, and professional engineers will further help you.

Note: if you are not using admin account, please kindly ask admin within your organization for help.

Sincerely hope that your problem is solved as soon as possible! Have a great day!

    Sincerely

    Hello Kerry,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, you do understand the issue as stated. The issue does occur when replying to all or if just replying to the original email.

I did log into OWA, and it does the same on the web.

    I have a business account - Office 365

    Dear Tony Beaubouef

Good day! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. We'll be happy to help!

First of all, we regret for the inconvenience caused to your work. Based on your description, I have a general understanding of your question, I've done some research and testing, but I don't have the same error as you, so I still need to gather more information to narrow down the issue in order to help you:

    • Can I understand that your steps are: select an email in your inbox> click Reply/Reply All> then save it to your drafts> then double-click on the email but you can't see the > in full screenThen you click on the draft folder and find that you can display the email in full screen. If I understand incorrectly, please kindly correct me and give me more details, thanks.
    • Does this issue occur when you reply to all emails?
    • Even though the category of your upload question is the new version of Outlook client, I would like to double confirm to you that you are using the new version of Outlook client or the classic version of Outlook client?
    • Please kindly log in to OWA (outlook web app) with your account and test to check if the same problem occurs, thank you.
    • What is your account type?(buisness account within business subscription/outlook.com/hotmail.com/imap account/pop account)

Please kindly believe that I will do my best to do more research and testing to help you further when I get the feedback I need.

Please note that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!

    Sincerely
