How do I save a calendar event? When I try to add on an alert says "something went wrong." Problem just started yesterday.

    Hi All,

    Update: The issue with adding calendars in New Outlook has been resolved in the latest version.

    If you are still experiencing issues, please go to Settings > General > About Outlook and check if your Outlook version matches the following:

    • Microsoft Outlook version 1.2024.1107.100 (Production)
    • Client version 20241101001.35
    • WebView2 version 130.0.2849.80

    Hi All,

    Update: The issue still persists, but we have found a temporary solution.

    Add another email account (any account will do) and set this new email account as the primary account.

    You can do this by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner, going to Settings > Accounts > Manage, and selecting "Set as Primary Account." We recommend adding a Microsoft account, as the calendar function for Microsoft accounts is currently working properly.

    When your email is not the primary account, you should be able to save calendar events successfully.

    Recently, many users have reported the same issue. According to their feedback, they encountered problems when using non-Microsoft email accounts. Some users mentioned that after re-adding the account, they were able to add events for a short period, but the issue persisted afterward.
