    Hello,

i fixed this issue by installing the android system webview beta and switching to that viewer.

it seemed to be caused by the regular version perhaps its corrupts if your mobile device isnt part a of corperation you could reinstall it.

    hope this helps

Alright, so I manged to solve this with doing all that was mentioned before but then restarting the device. Guess it one of those old lessons of when all else fails, switch it off and back on.

Not sure why it caused an issue but this did work, because lets face it, it should just work...

I am also suffering with a similar issue. My Outlook on my phone just stopped working, It launches and I saw new emails, I opened an email but the head loaded only, but it kept animating as if it was trying to load the mail, yet never did, I could see the sender etc but not anything else.

Eventually I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I open it and want to add my email accounts, which it accepts but then the screen just stays blank. I have clear cache and all data, installed and uninstalled several times. I use a Samsung s20+ phone with the latest updates (for that phone) it worked fine before but now it refuses and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Can anyone assist that had this issue and resolved it?

    Hello Julia Styler,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with Outlook on your Android phone. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

The cause of the blank screen issue could be due to a number of reasons, such as a corrupted installation, outdated app version, or a conflict with other apps on your phone. To help us narrow down the cause of the issue, could you please answer a few questions?

    1. Have you tried clearing the cache and data of the Outlook app?
    2. Are you using the latest version of the Outlook app?
    3. Have you recently installed any new apps on your phone that may be conflicting with Outlook?

In the meantime, here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Clear the cache and data of the Outlook app: Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data.
    2. Uninstall and reinstall the Outlook app: Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Uninstall. Then, go to the Google Play Store and reinstall the app.
    3. Check for updates: Go to the Google Play Store and check if there are any updates available for the Outlook app.
    4. Try checking on different mobile device if the Outlook app is working. In this way we can isolate if the problem only happens on the specific mobile device.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please let me know and we can explore other solutions.

    Sincerely,

    ReynaldoB
