Today I wanted to find an recent email that I received and saved into my Miscellaneous folder. When I went to check, I noted that my Miscellaneous folder was no longer there. Where could it have gone and how can I get it back?

    Dear Dave Nordbrock

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that your Miscellaneous folder is missing and you need to restore it.

Can you tell us what mailbox's Miscellaneous folder has disappeared?

What version of Outlook do you have?

If you have a Microsoft mailbox, we recommend that you check your mailbox by going directly to outlook.live.com.

Check if your web version has this miscellaneous folder.

If not it is recommended that you check your Deleted or Recoverable folders for this folder.

If neither, it means this folder is no longer in your server.

I hope the above information is helpful to you.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Dear Dave Nordbrock

    Thanks for your reply.

If you can check on the web page that there are folders on the server, then there should be a synchronization problem in your Outlook. Have you tried removing the account and reconfiguring?

Hey, thanks, Peter. I logged onto outlook.live.com and it was there. Do you know how I can put it back on to my Outlook program that I use every day? Obviously, I am not very tech savvy. Dave
