New Outlook Time Zone Isn't Right

I just upgraded my Surface Pro to W11. It installed "New Outlook" for me. I'm still getting used to it but help me with something. The computer system time zone is set to "Arizona Mountain Time", but when I go to calendar all the times are an hour earlier -- i.e. Pacific Time. The settings in Outlook calendar also show it is set to Arizona Time. On my desktop PC running W10 (Time zone also set to Arizona Mountain) Outlook shows those times correctly. Why would this happen, and what do I do about it?

I'm ALSO having trouble with the Time Zone - EVERY DAY I have to change the Time Zone from Pacific to Eastern U.S. This new platform is an embarrassment and a disgrace to even have the Microsoft name on it. Nothing was wrong with the Classic - except perhaps it was more expensive to Microsoft - to force a switch to this cheap, amateurish version of an email platform.

Hello Sdrum, thanks for coming into forums. I'm Myk, an Independent Advisor and I'll be more than happy to help you.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the time zone settings in the new Outlook. Kindly check the following settings in the new Outlook app to see if it helps:

    1. Open new Outlook app
    2. At the top of the page, select Settings .
    3. Select General > Language and time.
    4. Select the language, date format, time format, and time zone you want to use.
    5. Select Save.

If the same issue persists, try to check if there's any pending app updates by opening Microsoft Store > select More Three-dot More icon > Downloads and updates > Get updates.

If you require any further information, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact. I will be more than happy to assist you further.

    Kind Regards, Myk

Yes, I did click the "Save" button. I too didn't notice it the first couple of times, but since then, I have used the "Save" button.

Everything is fine in the current session of Outlook, but when I close it out and start it up again, it reverts to Pacific Time.

I have the same problem in classic outlook.

Eastern time is shown as 2 hours ahead of Pacific, it should be 3 hours ahead. CET is 8 hours ahead, it should be 9 hours.

I am begging on my knees that Microsoft makes sure that their core products are working properly. Please fix these bugs.

I've also experienced issues with Time Zones in New Outlook. Computer time (Central) show's correctly, but when I add additional time zones for Eastern and Pacific, they are wrong. Removing and recreating doesn't help. Switching back to Outlook "Classic" works fine.
