I'm trying to send an email from Outlook to a Verizon phone number. I'm using the correct domain (@vtext.com) and have no pictures and limited text characters. It works perfectly fine if I try sending from my Gmail. How can I resolve this? We need this capability for my business. Thank you!

Im having the same issue. If I send a email from hotmail/outlook to my verizon number ******@vtext.com or ******@vxwpix.com I do not receive the message on my verizon iphone 15. I get no error message about the message not being deliverable and I am sending a one word email so it is also not a length issue.

As a test I sent an email from outlook to @vztext.com and I received a non deliverable message from outlook so at least I know that if I were sending my emails to the wrong address for verizon I would get an error response.

I can however receive messages on outlook sent from my verizon iphone 15 message app. The email says it was sent from xxxxxxxxxx@vxwpixcom. I then tried to reply to the message I received but the reply did not get to my iphone. I think the problem is with verizon at this point but I am not sure. One the phone with Verizon now, but if you know a solution please let me know.

Does it matter for example with Verizon if after the number you use @vtext.com or @vzwpix.com? What's the difference? Neither work. I get a failure notice back, Generating server: PH7P220MB1662.NAMP220.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM
    Total retry attempts: 4

    ##########@vzwpix.com
Remote server returned '550 5.4.300 Message expired -> 452 4.1.0 <******@outlook.com> server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRT' ( I put in the ### instead of my phone number)

Well, the issue of delay might be network and server-related, which I do not have resources to troubleshoot.

Hopefully, the delay issue will be resolved soon.

I've not been getting any error messages.

One update is that the Verizon recipients did received the texts but there was a huge delay, like over an hour, vs when I sent to another carrier or from my gmail account. In the latter examples the text was received immediately.

And yes, I'm using the address format ******@vtext.com

I haven't tested AT&T to see if the same thing is occurring. I just am hoping to find out if there's a fix or we just have to live with the big delay.

    Thank you!

    Hello Brianna,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem, I am Taiwo and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Is that the complete error message? Are there any codes in the error message?

Are you using the address format phonenumber@vtext or an SMS service?

Other users reported problems with both Verizon and AT&T text messages.

    Regards

    Taiwo
