I used to be able to copy meetings throughout the Outlook calendar where I could not set up a normal recurrence. This saved time and effort. Is there still another way to do this?

Many thanks for your kind response,

In the classic Outlook, May I please double confirm if you tried to right-click the appointment/meeting, drag it to the new day, release the button and choose Copy?

    • May I please double confirm if you are getting any error message when you try to copy meetings in your outlook?

Regarding the new outlook, I do understand your query, but copying a meeting in the new outlook is not yet available. However, you can use "Duplicate" feature to recreate the meeting you previously have it. To do this, right click on the meeting you want to copy/duplicate -->Select duplicate --> Then, make necessary changes and save it on the date or time you desired. You can refer to the screenshot below:

Please note, since the new outlook is still under active development, Microsoft is constantly working on improving their products and adding new features. I suggest keeping an eye on the Microsoft Outlook blog Things to look forward to in the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Community Hub or the Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365 for any updates on this feature. In the meantime, I do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and I will pass along your feedback to the appropriate team for consideration in future updates. I will also update here once I get additional information and the specific timeline for the feature will be added. Appreciate your patience and understanding.

I look forward to your response. Kindly note that the above requested information is required for further analysis and troubleshooting of your situation. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a great day!

Thank you! Both of these approaches work. I wasn't aware of the copy feature using the method you described in the first example, and I didn't notice the duplicate feature in the new outlook. I appreciate the guidance.

    Dear JHoudek,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

In order to understand your query and provide possible solution, May I please double confirm if you are using a Microsoft 365 business email account, a Microsoft personal account such as outlook.com, hotmail.com or live.com or third-party email provider account?

    • May I please know the email client version you are using? Is it Outlook for Mac, Outlook for windows, Outlook for Mobile or Outlook on the web? could you please provide us with the screenshot of the outlook client you are using? See What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support
