My hotmail account has recently started sending error messages saying my account is unavailable, even when the email has been received in the hotmail account.

    I know that the person who sends an email to your account receives a postmaster delivery failure message, but you actually received the email, and I understand your confusion. Rest assured that I will assist you with this problem, you can try the following suggestions:

    What I need to confirm with you is whether there has been any unusual activity on your account recently or whether it was hacked some time ago.

    You can check the latest activity log, https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/activity-history, to see if there are any does not belong to your login information. Prevent hackers from always logging into your email.

    If the login information is abnormal, please change your password immediately, which can effectively protect the account.

    And click Sign out of all locations on the Account Security screen. All devices you log into this account will be turned off after 24 hours. This prevents hackers from continuing to connect to your email.
