Can’t input code on authenticator app

This problem got worse. Authenticator does not notify me on the phone when I get a two digit code from the computer and will not let me enter a code. I am using the same email. I have never seen a six digit code. There is no option in the settings for app updates? The apple app store has no newer update. I have tried uninstalling both teams and the authenticator from the phone and removing the accounts but it does nothing. When I re add my account on Authenticator, put in the email and password, it gives me a two digit code to enter in the Authenticator app… I’m already in the app and don’t get the choice to put in a code.

I called my company IT department and they were able to solve the problem. My old phone was still the registered phone for the Authenticator and by removing it I was able to add a new sign in method, scan a QR code, and receive notifications on my new phone.

How can I type in the numbers to authenticate my account when the box to type then doesn't pop up and I cant leave the authentication app, I cant access a QR code and the other code also wants me to use the authentication app that isn't working.

Muffah the response is unfortunately rubbish.........there is no six digit code, there is no window pop up and this process is the equivalent of Dante's circles of hell!
