I agree with this issue. I sent an invite to a large number of participants and needed to fix the spelling of one word with one letter change in the meeting invite and now with the new outlook I have no ability to edit this without sending everyone yet another invite, which is not helpful. I wish MS outlook support would fix this limitation a soon as possible.

Thank you for an HONEST and decisive answer.

    You can NOT do it.

Microsoft--stop removing CONTROL from your users. I need to add notes to MYSELF to my own calendar events. I dont' want to share my notes with every attendee. This was do-able before. Make it do-able again!!!

The work around is to double-book yourself. I add a second calendar event that is private with my information to the same time slot.

Just wanted to add on that it is ridiculous and humiliating to not be able to edit without sending. Why do you hate me? I am just a human, I make mistakes. Microsoft is like a mean teacher for this.

The issue is with new outlook you don't get the option to save or update without notification but soon the old version of outlook you do.
