How can I import my outlook calendar into Outlook 2024?

How can I import my outlook calendar - from a previous version of Outlook - into Outlook 2024?

I click Calendar > Add Calendar and look for Import as the Help screen instructs. There is no Import option. I am only offered: Recommended, Edit my calendars, Create a blank calendar, Subscribe from the web, Holidays, Sports, and Looking for additional calendars.

I am using Outlook New, as Outlook Classic will not open for me. I had no trouble importing my contacts, but cannot import my calendar (which I absolutely need or Outlook is worthless to me). Any help would be most appreciated!

    Thank you for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

    I realise that you want to import your Outlook calendar into Outlook 2024 and I will try to help you!

    Before answering your question, I did a test in your case, you have the ‘upload from file’ option in the web calendar but not in outlook, this is because you have not added your outlook account in outlook. My test result is that when I add a non-Microsoft domain email (third party email) to outlook, there is no ‘upload from file’ option when I add the calendar, just like you. (Both emails you configured in Outlook 2024 are comcast.net.) Then I added the web logged in outlook account to my outlook and the ‘upload from file’ option showed up properly.

    So you can add an outlook account (outlook.com/hotmail.com/live.com) to the outlook client and in account management, set the outlook account as the master account and then add the calendar.

    Based on your further description, may I know whether you are using Microsoft 365 Business / Education subscription, Microsoft 365 Family/Personal account(Such as Outlook.com/Hotmail.com/live.com) or any other subscription?

    May I know whether you are using ​​​​​​​Office Home & Business 2024 or Microsoft 365 subscription?

    Could you please share me the screenshot of the version of Outlook? Go to Settings > General > About Outlook.

    Hi Allen,

    Thank you for taking the time to try and help me!

    Yes, I can see "Upload from file" on Outlook.com but not in Outlook 2024 New. If I upload on the web, will it then download to my computer? Email on the web is outlook.com, but the two emails I have configured in my Outlook 2024 are comcast.net.

    From what I am reading elsewhere, I should be able to see the option to "Upload from file".
