Dear Umakant Yadav

You are welcome! If you find my answer can help you, please kindly select Yes under any one of my replies, this is very important to the staff like me on this forum, thanks for your cooperation! Have a good day!

Since you have purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can stay with Outlook Legacy as this is the software you have paid for :) Outlook New is free software for everyone.

1.Can I import the .pst file in Outlook New?

Outlook New doesn't support importing .pst files, so please continue to use Outlook Classic.

  1. What is the storage capacity of the old version?

There is no storage capacity for Outlook legacy, but it depends on the mailbox storage limit of your email account, as you have purchased Microsoft 365 subscription, you should have about 50G of mailbox storage.

Best regards

By the way, what does the storage capacity pop-up say? You can show me with a screenshot :)

    Hello,

Thank you for your answer. Now the situation is clear. I thought I paid for Outlook New, and Legacy is some old version for old people. If the Connect version is Legacy to use, I believe all the problems are resolved.

    Your many many thanks...

    Have a great day

Hi, Thank you for your courtesy reply.

I am using the Outlook new.

I purchased the Microsoft 365 subscription and used the desktop version of Outlook New.

The import and export tab in Outlook New is greyed (I can't select that).

However, yesterday I understood that I could use the legacy version to import the .pst file.

So, I think the problem is resolved in one way.

    but,

    1. can I import the .pst file in Outlook New?
    2. What is the capacity of storage in the legacy version?

because when I imported around 23 GB of emails, the popup for capacity was showing while sending and receiving new emails.

However, now I deleted all the added accounts in Outlook and using the old laptop because of this confusion.

if you answer points 1 and 2, it will be convenient for me to move further.
