Sending emails by first name only

Hello, my Microsoft account has my full name and surname, but when I send emails I only want it to show my christian name. Is this possible? On my Google account this is possible, you can remove the surname, but I can't do it on my Microsoft account. Also on the Google account you can give emails you send a seperate name (my christian name only) and my full name on the account itself. But you can't do this on the Microsoft account. Why not?

Dear Philip01,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you want to show only your christian name in your email and not your last name.

I'm sorry to say that Microsoft accounts really don't have this feature that gives you the option to show other people only your first name and not your full name.

However, other people can fill in only the first name and not the last name when they save you as a contact, so that when he receives your email, it will only show your first name and not your full name.

    Hello Jason,

Thank you for your reply. An option that allows me to send emails as first name only is an idea I will send to Microsoft as feedback.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind regards

    Philip
