Using Outlook for iOS in business environments for email and scheduling
Hello Terrence,
My name is Rita and I am happy to assist you with your query.
Pegasus spyware is actually a powerful surveillance software developed by the Israeli cyber-intelligence firm NSO Group. It’s designed to infiltrate iOS and Android devices without any action from the targeted user. Once installed, Pegasus can secretly collect information, including reading texts and emails, monitoring app usage, tracking location data, and accessing a device’s microphone and camera.
Unfortunately, this spyware has been hacked by top scammers and they are using it to infiltrate iOS and Android devices. It affects these devices mostly because of the installation of unverified apps on mobile phones thereby welcoming the virus in devices unknowingly. If the infected devices are linked to your account, the scammer will have access to your account in the form of cloning.
If you suspect that you are at the risk of Pegasus spyware, kindly disconnect every device from your account through account.microsoft.com then scan your devices with a strong anti-virus to remove it from your devices.
In the case of spoofing, I don't know how scammers do it but they make it look like the email is from your account. You can only fish out the true email address of the scammer when you analyze the email.
Kindly take the following steps to do that:
- Open the message.
- Click on the three dots (More Actions) on the message window.
- Go to View and select Message details.
- Scroll to From and you will see the email address of the sender.
For a detailed report, copy everything in the message details, open this link through your browser https://mha.azurewebsites.net/ Then paste everything you copied from the message details and click on Analyze headers.
This will show you details of the email in sections. You can view the details of the sender.
I hope this information is helpful.
Stay Safe, Rita.
