Hello, i was sending email using SMTP with LabVIEW to send emails, Now it is not working after microsoft disabled basic auth., if you have any solution to make it working again

it was working for more than 2 years, the problem occured after i have recieved and email from microsfot in 16th of sep

Various non-Microsoft applications will have their own steps for connecting to your Outlook.com email account using modern authentication methods.     According to your description, you used to send emails through LabVIEW, but now it doesn't work because Microsoft has disabled basic authentication. Don't worry, because Microsoft is currently using modern authentication, I will explain this situation in detail, I hope my relevant explanation can help you.

    First of all, I want to make it clear to you that after September 16th, Microsoft started using modern authentication, basic authentication can no longer be used to access accounts with any Microsoft domain.

    For more information about modern authentication methods, you can refer to Modern Authentication Methods now needed to continue syncing Outlook Email in non-Microsoft email apps - Microsoft Support.

    If your email account is configured to connect to Outlook.com using POP or IMAP, modern authentication is not supported. You can first try to upgrade your LabVIEW to the latest version, then remove and re-add your account in LabVIEW to check that your email account is working properly.

    If your email account still does not work properly after doing the above operations, it may be that the LabVIEW you are using does not support Microsoft's modern authentication, I suggest you try to switch to the email application that supports modern authentication to use your email account.
