Every time I enter my correct password, it says that it is incorrect.

I change the password and proceed to log in and it continues to say it is incorrect.

it forces me to change to the point my account is blocked.

Then when i try to unlock by changing the password it locks me out.

I was able to get back in today after going through many forms one which says my account did not exist.

After panicking i was able to recover it through the password reset form

I change my password, am able to finally log in. But after logging out and trying to come back in with the exact same password it says i am wrong again.

Its frustrating at this point.

I am able to log into my outlook with the correct password on the outlook.live.com site, but when I try to look into outlook on my PC with the same password, I get an error message that states my password is incorrect. Is there something I can do to fix that on my PC?

    Thanks,

    TVP

    Hello sibongile mkoba

Thank you for using Microsoft products and sending them to the community.

I know you often have trouble with the need to change your password, and I understand how you feel.

What was the specific prompt on the page before resetting your password? Did you get a direct error that your password is incorrect? Or is there an exception on your account that is blocked or locked?

If you are directly asked to enter an incorrect password, you can click on the small eye on the right side after entering the password to view the password to check if you entered it incorrectly due to your input device or other reasons.

If everything is correct, check the account for any other insecure activity to see if there is an unknown location logged in to the account and if this sign-in activity was successful.

    https://account.live.com/activity

If there is a lot of unusual activity in the activity log that doesn't belong to you, it's recommended that you temporarily hide your Microsoft account sign-in information for 3-5 days, hide it for a while, and then reopen it so that you can stop any unfamiliar sign-in attempts. It is also recommended that you check the security of your device.

Click this link to sign in to your Microsoft account https://account.microsoft.com/, click [Your Information]-[Your Account Information]-[Edit Account Information]. In this interface, you can add a nickname to your account and set the added alias as the primary alias. You can then click [Change Login Preferences] below to uncheck the checkbox in front of your old account, this will make your old account name unavailable to log in, which can effectively stop hackers from constantly logging in. You also won't be able to log in to your account with your old account name. In our tests, you may still receive emails with your old account name.

Note: Don't remove the nickname unless you need it anymore. If your email address is an Exchange address (e.g., @hotmail.com、@outlook.com), once you remove it, you can't restore it. This means that you won't be able to receive email that others send to this address.

Usually hackers do not attack the same account continuously, the attack has a duration, if your account does not exist for a long time, the hacker's automated attack script may no longer attempt access. You can reset your original name back to the primary alias after a certain period of time, we generally recommend that users hide it for 3-5 days.

Since the Community Team has limited tools and access to account information, you can contact our customer support team. Microsoft has a dedicated customer service team that will do everything possible to help you.

The following link can be used to contact the customer service team from the account number:

    1. Open Sitelink -Contact – Microsoft Support
    2. Enter MSA in the box under "We will work for you at any time", click "Get Help" and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this part, you need to use a personal Microsoft account

    Note: You can only use a personal MSA account to sign up, and your business account can't display the correct content. If you can't connect an account, you can use a different account or create a new account to start;

    1. Under Products & Services, select "Other Products", select "Manage Account Security" as the category and click to confirm
    2. You can select "Chat with support specialists in the browser" to access the chat window.

I hope you are successful in resolving this issue. Feel free to respond if you need any further assistance.
