Name in my own contact card is incorrect

Hi,

I noticed that whenever I wanted to send an email to myself (to my own email address), the name (basically the contact card) is showing a different name.

As you can see from the screenshots, I tried to "Update your profile" (3rd) but everything looks intact (4th pic).

I did a test email to my friend, fortunately its showing my correct name.

Anyone experiencing the same? Issue happens on both Outlook desktop & app.

Dear Dear Fahmi ArifMuhamad

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that when you send emails to yourself in Outlook, you will find that your name does not match with your actual name.

This list belongs to Suggested Contacts as well as History, and you will see that the name is different from your current name, this is because this could be the name of the email that you have set up before, if you don't want to see this name then you just need to remove it from the Suggested Contacts. If you don't want to see this name then all you need to do is remove it from the suggested contacts. To do this you click on the X on the right.

I hope the above information is helpful to you.

Best Regards,

Peter.Y-MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
