Most of my new messages goes to Conversation History not on my inbox

I’m experiencing a significant issue with my Outlook where both original emails and responses are bypassing my inbox and going directly to the Conversation History folder. Despite deleting and reinstalling Outlook, the problem persists.

This is causing me to miss several critical communications, including responses to emails and threads that should appear in my inbox. For example, a client recently replied to an email regarding a meeting date, but their response didn’t show as a new email in my inbox or as part of the thread—it was only found in the Conversation History folder.

I’d appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible. Please let me know what steps I can take to fix this.

Thank you for your assistance!

    Hi, Arabella Mariz De Luna

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I realize that most of your new messages goes to Conversation History rather than Inbox in New Outlook for Mac, I understand your confusion.

Regarding emails that go into conversation history: usually emails only go into conversation history when a rule is applied, so please go to Outlook.com and go to Settings ->Mail -> Rules to see if there is a rule that forwards emails accordingly.

Correspondingly, as a workaround, you can create a rule that will direct emails sent to you to the Inbox folder, just like the following picture shows:

Hope that can be helpful and please feel free to contact me if you need further help.

    Hi, Arabella Mariz De Luna

    Thanks for your response!

As for the condition "Emails received for others", you can set up rules related to emails from specific senders.

Currently, you can change this condition to "Apply to all messages”

Directs all incoming e-mail to Inbox. of course, this action, when it takes effect, may cause your spam to also go to the Inbox.

Please share with me on any developments about this issue!

    Hello Cece,

I have done this, however, I don't understand the "Emails received for others" selection.  It REQUIRES I identify the people I'm receiving the emails from.  The best I could do was I'm on both the To and CC list.  Don't know what happens now to BCC...

Thanks for following up on this! I really need this to get resolved as soon as possible.
