Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity

You are definitely not the only one who finds the New Outlook to be a nightmare. Admittedly, the New Outlook currently has some shortcomings and may not meet all users' expectations. However, with updates, it is expected to improve over time.
Regarding your issue, I might need some clarification.
- What do you mean by 'pull up 365'? The New Outlook is actually a free application and should not require a Microsoft 365 subscription.
- Are you saying that you need to re-enter your account password every time you open the New Outlook?
- If so, what email domain are you using?
