    Hello Ron,

    Good day!

Thank you for reaching out to us about your request to show the BCC line by default when composing a new email in Outlook. I hope this message finds you well.

I understand that you'd like to have the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field visible by default whenever you create a new email. I apologize for any inconvenience it may be causing you to have to manually enable the BCC field each time you compose a new email.

To show BCC line by default in Classic outlook:

    • Open Outlook and create a new email.
    • In the new email window, go to the Options tab.
    • Click on BCC to enable the BCC field.

    • Close the new email without saving. From now on, the BCC field will show by default in new, replying, or forwarding email message windows

    New Outlook:

    • Open Outlook on your browser and log in.
    • Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner.
    • Select View all Outlook settings.
    • Navigate to Mail > Compose and reply.
    • Under the Message format section, check the box next to Always show BCC.
    • Click Save to apply the changes

These steps should help you set the BCC line to show by default when composing a new email in Outlook. If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask!

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can find a solution together.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding, and thank you for your time and cooperation. I am looking forward to your answers. Have a nice day!

Thank you for being part of the Microsoft community.
