Email Images not Opening in Outlook 365

Outlook 365 is not opening some images in email although, strangely enough but not surprisingly, other images such as ads and company logos show perfectly fine.

If I open this same email in Windows 10 Mail app it opens fine.

I've already gone to file/options/trust center/auto download and unchecked both main options and still nothing.

I'm pretty much at the stage where I'll just remove the program. It used to be good but this is crazy, it's always something. I don't have time for this constant irritation of Microsoft products. IT'S EMAIL, JUST OPEN MY EMAIL, I don't need or want to go to regedit or obtain a degree in computer sciences just to view email and don't need schooling on the nonstop issues with security. It cant have anything to do with security. As I mentioned, the Ads show up PERFECTLY FINE, no problems or concerns there. Hmmmmm.

Thanks

Hi FaeryFu, thanks very much for your response, much appreciated!

    1. My version is Outlook 365: Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2206 Build 16.0.15330.20260) 64-bit. In fact I've just recently reinstalled Win10 and all my apps so everything is up-to-date and brand new.
    2. "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is already unchecked.

Thanks for the last suggestion although I no longer perform hacks or workarounds with Microsoft products. Those days are loooong gone. If the program doesn't work as expected (e.g. display inline images after having set it up to do so) and yet other things do display such as Ads, then that's a lost customer.

I no longer have time for these msft idiosyncrasies. The only thing I can and will do is uninstall Outlook and happily use another app.

2022 and STILL we have email issues. Aye yi yi yi yi!!!!!!!

    Hi @Carl Williams ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What detailed version of Outlook are you using? please make sure that you have upgraded it to the latest version(File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now)

According to my search, this issue can be caused by serval reasons, given this case, it is recommended you try the following troubleshooting:

To help narrow down whether the issue is due to any third-party add-ins, please run Outlook in safe mode (type outlook.exe /safe in run command) and see whether this issue continues.

Images may also not be shown when you have adjusted your security settings for Internet Option in Windows and enabled the option: Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
    You can enable this option in the following way;
Control Panel > Internet Options > tab Advanced: disable: Do not save encrypted pages to disk
    224692-207796-option.jpg

If this doesn’t help, personally I’d recommend creating a new profile.
    (1)Exit Outlook.
(2)In Control Panel, click or double-click Mail.
(3)Choose Show Profiles> Add. In the Profile Name box, type a name for the profile, and then choose OK.
(4)Add your account to test if the problems is resolved.
If you still need further help on this, feel free to contact us!
