While it definitely is not the same as old version, on top ribbon select “View” & from subribbon select “Layout”. The last option in the dropdown is “My day”. Select “Show” and it will pin to the right of your reading pane. However it does show your entire day so calendar items are included. Hope this helps!
How do I view my task list on the same page as my email in new outlook?
On the old version of outlook I could have my task list displayed on the main page next to the reading pane.
I just started using the new outlook and I can't seem to display my task list like I did on old outlook. There is a tab for tasks (to do) that takes me to a seperate page. But I want to view it on my main email screen. How do I do this?

2024-08-19T20:20:18+00:00 I tried this but I don't see "To Do" listed on the "find an app" screen. The only app listed is OneNote and there isn't an "Add App" button that I could use to add other apps.
