How can i filter by category on Outlook 365?

Have recently had the new Outlook 365 installed and cannot filter by categories any more? The filter options only give: Unread/Flagged/To me/ Has Files/Mentions me/Has calendar invites

    This is not filtering. This is sorting, please respond with answer to filtering.

    This is an incredible oversight Microsoft. This makes Categories almost useless. The previous Outlook was able to filter by Category. This needs to be fixed in the new version.

    For those needing a real answer to filter by category rather than just sort by category, there's a "command line like way" to do it. In the Search tool at the top, type in "Category: XXXXX". Tip: You don't have to type out the entire category name.

    I also do not see how to filter by category. You can sort by category but not filter as far as I can tell. Thank you - Jeannette

    Before I suggest some troubleshooting steps, I need to clarify from your side

    Could you please share details screenshot of your outlook please

     If you are referring to filter emails or inbox by category, new outlook certainly have Category filter. You have to click on most right side as follow > By Date. which will provide other options.
