No, why would I?
I need to get any kind of notifaction/visual notice, that there is a new eMail in one of the inboxes in all of my shared mailboxes that I use (14 at the moment). In the old/"classic" Outlook I could just look down the list of my mailboxes on the left, if there is "a badge" (1) on one of those mailboxes. In the new Outlook this is impossible (because they are in a CLOSED Folder which is CLOSED every time I open Outlook and would take 28 klicks(!) vor me to do...
How do other Users do this?
How to open other shared mailboxes - in "new Outlook"
I'm a Windows user, toggeld the "new Outlook" to test (bevor mandaotry rollout 🙄) but now all of my shared Mailboxes are gone...
In the OWA (office365 web version) i can open different mailboxes with the klick on my profile, but in the new windows app I can't finde this feature anywhere (even though I would very much hope i can get the other shared mailboxes in the list on the left again, like in the Outlook of the bevor days (so that i can see if new mails arrive there!)!)?

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.
Based on your description, I know the scenario you met. For this, I understand how frustrating it can be to lose access to your shared mailboxes. Here's how you can add them in the new Outlook for Windows:
- Right-click your account name in the Folder pane on the left side.
- Select "Add shared folder or mailbox" from the context menu.
- In the window that appears, type the name or email address of the shared mailbox you want to add.
- Click "Add".
The shared mailbox should now appear under the "Shared with me" folder in the Folder pane. If it doesn't show up immediately, try restarting Outlook.
If you want to add the shared mailbox to your favorites for easier access:
- Locate the shared mailbox in the Folder pane.
- Right-click on the Inbox of the shared mailbox.
- Select "Add to Favorites" from the context menu.
Here is the reference: Open and use a shared mailbox in Outlook - Microsoft Support.
Hope this can help. If there is any update, please feel free to update me. I will continue to help you based on the information you provide. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.
Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.
Sincerely
Katherine

2025-01-14T18:05:38+00:00 Are you able to move shared inboxes to the favorites section like in the old outlook? If so, how? I've tried adding it but it simply adds the folder, not the actual inbox.
