I want to download my entire Microsoft account data like Google Takeout. This includes my Hotmail emails, Onedrive files, login history, device list, browsing history, activity history, advertising data, etc. How can I do this?

Hi Jeffrey, you can, indeed, get your personal data from Microsoft, here is a simple walkthrough.

You need to go in your Microsoft account, then in the Privacy Tab on the left, scroll down a bit and click on contact our privacy team (you can see that link on your screenshot). You will be taken to Privacy support and requests, scroll down to Contact the Microsoft privacy team or the Microsoft Data Protection Officer, then click Make a request related to a personal Microsoft account, you will be taken back to your account in Submit a Privacy Request. In Select your request, select "Export my data", a new area will show up, then select your country from the your Country or region dropdown and tick the "I confirm that I am signed in to my Microsoft account and that I want Microsoft to export my personal data.". Finally, click "Submit". You will then be taken to an acknowledgement screen that will let you know that the request will take up to 30 days to complete, which is in line with time limits for responding to data protection rights requests.

    Hope this helps!

It works. After submitting, the page shows this URL:

The data will be available within 30 days as an archive at account.microsoft.com/privacy/download-data. To protect your information, your password will be required to access it. You may want to check periodically in case the data is available sooner.

Exactly. OneDrive, Hotmail, etc are all in the cloud. They are not stored locally. Is there no way to download all that data in bulk as a zip file?

This screenshot is from my Microsoft account page. These data are definitely stored in the cloud not in my browser. Is this downloadable?

Google offers the option to download ALL data (emails, docs, photos, logins, ads, etc) in one click as a zip file. Does Microsoft not offer this?

    Basically you cannot.

The free MS mail accounts are an exchange type and if you install that mail account on another device all data will be as before.

Exhange email data is cloud based, nothing is on the local pc other than an ost data file which is basically a copy of the cloud data.

Same for OneDrive data - no docs are on the local PC

Browsing data is nothing to do with o365/office its a feature of your unknown web browser

Gmail is web based and google data is on the local PC all completely different to o365/MS Office
