How to access already added account on outlook and refresh to the new outlook ?

Hey, I don't know how to access my other outlook accounts, they exist, i can send emails to them and I receive them from the internet outlook. But adding these accounts to the outlook app seems impossible, it keeps saying "this account has already been added" but I can't access it.

I told myself it's probably my outlook version, being the old one but I can't even switch to the new one the loading screen just stays on for a long time then I quit and the message says it had had an error with the new outlook and throws me back to the old version, wich can't access my other accounts.

Ive tried to uninstall outlook, tried to update myicrosoft 365, tried to create other accounts and see their possibility of access but they keep getting banned because I use outlook too much in a day (apparently it's something yeah).

If any have suggestions to fix this issue, please let me know,

Thank you

    Hi Lime,

Thank you for using Microsoft products and making community posts.

It sounds like Outlook is stuck in a loop where it recognizes your accounts but won’t let you access them. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help:

    1. Check Account Settings – Open Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Email, and see if your accounts are listed. If they are, try removing and re-adding them.
    2. Create a New Outlook Profile – Sometimes, a corrupt profile causes issues. Open Control Panel > Mail, create a new profile, and add your accounts there.
    3. Clear Cached Credentials – Go to Windows Credential Manager, remove any saved Outlook credentials, and restart Outlook.
    4. Try Adding Accounts via Web Outlook – Log in to Outlook Web and see if your accounts sync properly there.
    5. Check for Licensing Issues – If you’re using Microsoft 365, ensure your subscription includes access to the new Outlook.
    6. Manually Enable New Outlook – If switching to the new Outlook fails, try enabling it manually via Settings > General > Try the new Outlook.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes.

    Hi,

Thanks for the help, i managed to access once again my email.

For the new outlook, I pretty much am sure that my organization blocked in some way the possibility to update the outlook to the newer version

Once again, thank you, it's much appreciated
