Retention Policy Option is Missing

All of a sudden my email is only retaining 10 days of emails. I need to see old emails on a constant basis. I'm using Microsoft 365 Family version with classic outlook. I'm a Board Member in my 55 and over community and I really need to see these emails. I do not have an IT administrator. This is a program I purchased on my own. Please tell me how I can change the retention of the emails. Thanks.

Does the phone also only have the last 10 days?

Do you have all of your mail in web mail?

Yes, it's an IMAP account. Yes, I have access on my cell phone.

Once again, thanks for your assistance.

That's an IMAP account, correct? Any retention policy is set on the server.

Do you access the account from other computers or devices?

    Hi Diane,

    I appreciate your assistance.

    Under mail settings,

Keep mail offline is set to All.

Purge items when switching folders while online is checked.

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

Is your sync setting set to 10 days? Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. Double click on the account to check.

Are the messages in Outlook on the web?

Retention policies only apply to business accounts (and the option to set a specific policy on a message is only in the business version of the software).

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.
