Dear Ben Burnand,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.
Typically, the "Conflicts" folder is created when Outlook encounters synchronization issue. However, in order to understand the problem and provide possible solution, May I please double confirm if you're using a Microsoft 365 business email account, a Microsoft personal account (such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, or live.com), or a third-party email provider account?
- Are you using Exchange, IMAP or POP3 email set up?
- To find the conflict folder, press Ctrl + 6 --> click on Folder and this will reveal a "Sync Issues" folder. Inside of this are other folders, one of which is "Conflicts". Then, once you find the folder, you may try to clear the folder and check if there is any difference.
- May I please know if you are experiencing same issue when you access your outlook on the web https://outlook.office.com/ ?
- Could you please provide us with the screenshot of the error message you are getting and the outlook version details? see What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support
I look forward to your response. Kindly note that the above requested information is required for further analysis and troubleshooting of your situation. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated.
Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Libeamlak | Microsoft Community Moderator
