Keyboard Shortcuts in New Outlook (specifically STRIKETHROUGH)

Is there a keyboard shortcut for strikethrough in the New Outlook?

If not, how do I add a keyboard shortcut?

I have tried the following all to no avail:

  • I've typed "?" to see the list of shortcuts
  • I've changed accessbility settings from Outlook for Windows to Outlook for Web

Not sure what to do now.

    Dear Olivia,

Thank you for reaching out and for trying different solutions to enable the strikethrough shortcut in New Outlook. We appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting this issue.

Currently, New Outlook does not have a dedicated keyboard shortcut for applying strikethrough formatting. However, you can still use the Format Text tab in the ribbon to manually apply strikethrough to selected text.

    1. In new Outlook, when composing an email message or reply, select the text to cross out.
    2. Select the Format text tab on the ribbon, then select Strikethrough.
