Keep email responses in the same folder

Hello, I have a separate folder in my inbox for a particular set of emails. However, when the person I'm talking to responds the email is sent to my general inbox and not the specified folder. Is there any way to keep all responses in the original folder?

What about Outlook 365 - business account? The Mail settings don't offer saved Emails settings other than retention

In my opinion, this is a poor decision - to eliminate the option to save a reply in the same folder the original message has been moved to for organizing purposes.

Agreed, Microsoft has removed many features that help with organizational habits. For instance, the "To Do" feature, in the business world many "To Do's" are based on a workweek not the calendar day or the month. A person can no longer schedule a repetitive task to occur on the last workday of a month or the first Thursday this goes for meeting reoccurrences also. Another example is if a reoccurrence falls on a Saturday, move it to the prior or next business day. All features Microsoft has eliminated.

Unfortunately, yes. There is also not an option to save an email you are sending to a specified folder.

In light of my research and earnestly attempting to find a means to elect to have my email replies automatically save to the same folder I had previously moved the associated email to, I've learned that this option is currently not available on Outlook 365-business account. Sorry that you're as disappointed & frustrated I am. It is such a great feature for those who organize emails in folders. Hopefully this feature will be added back again... soon!
