    LOL.

I've got 4 accounts in my Outlook app on my old phone. This procedure is EXACTLY what I'm trying to avoid.

I don't mind the new phone re-downloading the emails from the servers, whichever emails are still there, it's the adding every one of my accounts, logging into my hosting service and checking what the server addresses and ports are, and assigning their signatures again that I'm trying to avoid.

I have a Microsoft account, wouldn't have thought saving these settings so that as soon as I log in with my Microsoft Account, these things get copied to the new device.

Absolutely agree. I have 7 accounts and the new phone on the desk. I spent a lot of time searching how to avoid to enter all the accounts information and settings ... but MS probably does not understand how frustrating it is :(

    Dear ~SAKSA,

Good day, welcome to Microsoft Community.

Transferring your emails from an old phone to a new one in Outlook can be straightforward.

I understand you might have some queries, and here are some steps to help you with the process:

1, Sync Your Account: First, we need to confirm with you what protocol your old phone uses. Ensure that your Outlook account is synced on your old phone. If you are using Exchange/IMAP, this means that all your emails are stored on the server and not just locally on your device. So, you just need to add your email account to the Outlook app on your new phone, and it will automatically download and sync all your emails for you.

2, Add Account to New Phone: On your new phone, download the Outlook app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Open the app and add your Outlook account by entering your email address and password. This should sync all your emails to the new device.

3, If you use the pop protocol, data transfer will be relatively complicated and require manual export and import; but generally speaking, this protocol is rarely used. If this happens to be the case, please let me know and I will provide you with more detailed steps.

    Best regards,
