    Dear Frances

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Regarding your issue, yes you can mark an email as confidential by setting a Sensitivity level on your messages, here are a few steps for you to try:

    In Classic Outlook:

    • Click on creating new email, click File > Properties.
    • Look for the Sensitivity drop-down menu.
    • Choose Confidential from the options.
    • Click Close, then send your email.

This flags your message as confidential, and recipients will see that label.

For more details, please refer to: Mark your email as Normal, Personal, Private, or Confidential in Outlook - Microsoft Support

Important note: Marking an email as Confidential doesn’t encrypt it or prevent forwarding, it’s more of a label that informs the recipient about how the message should be handled.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask, also if you found the information useful, feel free to mark it as the answer, it can really help others in the community who are facing similar questions.

    Best regards,
