iOS Outlook calendar widget gone?

Hi.

So I had my outlook calendar stuck at 00:00 (very helpful during working hours).

As I couldn't tap on it to open/refresh it, I removed the widget.

On trying to add the widget again: No Outlook option?

Was this feature removed? Is there a workaround? All I want to see is my upcoming meetings. (It's a company phone, so calendar sharing is restricted. However, I found no policy on widget lockdowns)

The iPhone widget no longer opens the Outlook calendar but Outlook (mail). This happened literally overnight.

    1. iOS 18.3.2
    2. How to sync? I don't use the ios calendar. Edit: In iOS calendar, i only see my personal Gmail calendar and unused icloud calendar, which is not relevant for my question.
    3. My info may have been misleading. Sharing the whole calendar via external link is limited - this was intended for some "hacky" workaround, if needed.

    Hello Aberer Marius

We can understand how stressing it must be to lose access to the Outlook calendar widget on your Mac iOS, especially when you rely on it to keep track of meetings and upcoming events throughout your workday.

Please note IOS widgets depend on apps to correctly integrate with the system, and it’s possible that the Outlook widget stopped appearing due to a problem with widget API support. However, since it’s a company phone, there might be a Mobile Device Management (MDM) profile installed that restricts certain apps or features like widgets.

Given that there are several factors to consider like, iOS Settings/ Restrictions and MDM or Company Policy Restrictions, we need more information on the following to narrow down the issue and better assist you.

    1. What version of iOS are you using on your Mac? What type of account are you using? (Exchange or IMAP)
    2. Is your Outlook calendar properly synced with your iOS Calendar app? Sometimes syncing issues between the two can affect widgets.
    3. You mentioned that calendar sharing is restricted. Have you confirmed with your IT department if there are any MDM (Mobile Device Management) policies in place that might be preventing the Outlook calendar widget from being added or functioning properly?

    Awaiting your valuable response.

    Sincerely,

    Bertrand | Microsoft Community Moderator
