It's not a folder that is being attached but a standard file.
It works fine in "Classic" Outlook but not in "New" Outlook
And the issue with is everyone who has had the misfortune to try the New Outlook

I have found an extremely irritating behaviour, in the new version of Outlook
If, within any 365 Office products, you share the file with someone by email as an attachment - it wont, At that point. The mail will disappear, not appear in sent items or drafts in New Outlook.
When you return to New Outlook the following day, all mails sent from Office in this fashion will magically appear in your sent items and be sent!
The only way I have found to overcome this is to
