Dear Thomas Trowell**,**
Good day! Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft community.
As per your description, it seems like that you are concern about the "Focused" inbox vs "Other" inbox.
For your information:
Outlook's Focused Inbox automatically sorts your emails into Focused and Other based on Microsoft's AI filtering. The system prioritizes emails that seem important (such as personal messages, work-related emails, and frequent contacts) in the Focused tab, while newsletters, promotions, and less important emails go to Other.
There is a workaround on how you can modify the movement of the emails from "other" to focused "inbox":
Open Outlook (For both Web, New outlook or classic outlook version).
- Go to the Other tab.
- Find the email that should be in Focused.
- Right-click the email and select "Always Move to Focused Inbox". (If you select just the "Move to Focused" it won't pop up any window).
- It will pop up and window > Select "Always move messages from this sender" or "YES" to ensure future emails from this sender go to Focused.
- Classic Outlook:
- Outlook on the web and New outlook:
Please follow these steps and let me know the outcome. If the issue persists after completing the above, feel free to reach out, and we can further investigate the problem together.
