I am trying to change my outlook view back to the original, for some reason it no longer shows the name of the person emailing me in my inbox. The image shows my inbox but for whatever reason it doesnt not show who sent the email at the top. However in my sent mail it does, not sure of the issue here Thanks!

    Hi Christian Calderaro,

Thank you for sharing in Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I'd like to give you some a guide which may help you:

    1. You can try the option Switch to Compact View by go to View tab on the Outlook ribbon > Change ViewCompact

    1. You can try the option Reset View setting by go to View tab on the Outlook ribbon > Current View > View Settings (If any changes have been made to your view, the Reset View option will be available, click on it to restore the default layout)

    1. If the issue still persists, you can try to add the From columns
    • Go to View > View Settings > Columns.
    • In the “Show these columns in this order” list, find the From.

    • If not, add it from the Available columns list and move it to the top
    • After making changes, restart Outlook to apply the new view.

Please feel free to let me know if the issue still persists. Thank you for your time and your patience.

    Best Regards,
Mia - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist.
