What is the maximum retention period for Azure SQL Server VM in Azure Backup?

Just wondering how long can you store a full backup on azure recovery service vault for ms sql vm backup also for VM backups (max retention period).

    From the following article (Support matrix for Azure VM backup) it states that the maximum expiry time for a recovery point is No limit (99 years):

    For backing up data and storing it for long periods of times you should look into the use of Archive Tier for Long-Term Retention (LTR):
