    Hi Yvette,

    Thanks for your feedback.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I recommend using the Microsoft To Do app on your phone (iOS/Android). The date picker there usually supports faster year scrolling.

Alternatively, you can create the task first, then edit the date by typing the desired date directly (e.g. 06/12/2030) instead of using the scrolling calendar.

I understand the trouble this problem has caused you. Since we are not Microsoft employees, but participants in this community, you need Microsoft to  fix it to roll back in subsequent system updates, the development team is considering adding a quick year selection feature. I suggest that you may need to submit your problem in the Feedback Center.

    Hi Yvette,

    Thanks for your question

Here are some suggestions for you:

    1. Use the Web Version of Microsoft To Do

    Visit: https://todo.microsoft.com

The web version may offer a slightly more responsive calendar picker, though it still lacks a full year dropdown.

It’s generally faster and more stable for long-range date selection.

    2. Use the Mobile App (iOS/Android)

The Microsoft To Do mobile app often provides a native date picker with a scrollable year selector.

This is usually much faster for selecting dates far in the future.

If this is a feature you’d like to see improved, we encourage you to submit feedback through the Microsoft Ideas Community at Ideas · Community so that the product team can review user preferences.

Please feel free to reply below if you have any update or further concern.

    Best regard,
