    Hi Laurence Peppler

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Based on the description, I understand that you would like to revert the language setting back to English for the Outlook desktop app.

Please kindly follow the steps below to change the display language in Outlook back to English. (The button may display in different language, but the position is the same. )

    1. Go to File on top of your menu bar. (The first button to the left)
    2. Select Options on the right-hand side menu. (The 3rd button on the bottom left corner)
    3. Select Language (8th button) > choose English/Match Microsoft Windows (English)> select Set as Preferred (Last button) > select OK
    4. Close Outlook and restart Outlook. The display language will be revert back to English.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. If I misunderstood your request, please also correct me.

Your cooperation and kind understanding are greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Roger Shen
