The problem is I don't have some notifications for the e-mails that or put in a other directory after a rule move the message.
I get some notifications only if is go in the "Inbox".

In the setting of the rule I can't not add the action "notification".
In the setting for the folders I can't activate notification for all new message on different directory.

Regards,

Mima

    Hi MimaEki,
Thank you for sharing with me.
After testing with New Outlook, I realized that:

    • Notifications are only triggered for messages that arrive in the Inbox.
    • Rules that move messages to other folders stop notifications, because the message never hits the Inbox.
    • New Outlook removed support for advanced rules/actions like "Display a Desktop Alert" or granular notification settings that were available in Classic Outlook.

Personally, I completely agree and at least understand the necessity and convenience of turning on notification for all email folders to avoid missing mails and taking action on time.
Because of this situation, I sincerely recommend you go to the feedback community - Ideas · Community and vote for similar feedback. You can also post your own feedback posts in the feedback community. The Outlook product team is in charge of the site and constantly checks customer reviews and feedback. The more votes you get, the more attentive the relevant teams will be. Also, many features are developed and improved based on customer feedback.

    Dear MimaEki,
Good day to you! Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community!
To receive notifications for all email folders, you can try:

    1. Open Outlook and go to File > Manage Rules & Alerts.
    2. Select the rule that moves emails to a specific folder (or create a new one).
    3. Click Change Rule > Edit Rule Settings.
    4. Click Next until you reach the actions list.
    5. Check the box for “display a Desktop Alert”.
    6. Click Next, then Finish, and finally Apply and OK to save the changes

    Hello Katherine,

    Thank you for your response!

Unfortunately, the steps you've shared don't seem to apply to the new Outlook interface that I'm using. I no longer have access to the old version, and the “Manage Rules & Alerts” option is not available in the same way.

    In the new Outlook:

    • I can create rules, but I cannot add an action like “display a Desktop Alert”.

I've attached a screenshot of my current settings for reference.

    Looking forward to your help.
