100% this is a MS/Hotmail issue. This is happening to me now as well, and nothing on my computer or network has changed. I updated Edge, restarted the computer, cleared the caches, etc. and still cannot access Hotmail.
'Not secure' error message and 'connection isn't private'.
On my Dell laptop with Windows 11 Pro, when trying open hotmail (not outlook) I get a 'Not secure' message. Also in the URL, the https is in red font and crossed out in red. In the body of the message, it states that my connection is not private. When clicking on the advanced tab, it states, 'This server couldn't prove that it's mail.live.com; its security certificate is from *.azureedge.net.' This happens in Edge and I also tried Firefox as well but had the same result.

2025-06-01T17:25:59+00:00 I have this on Firefox and Chrome. Both give "Bad certificate in Hotmail.com" type error message.
But you (or at least I) can log in to Hotmail with adress "outlook.com".
