Hello Neelima Paravastu,
Thank you for posting this case in Microsoft Community!
Based on your description: How to export outlook calendar. You need to download the whole year into a CSV or Excel to keep a record. Support video says change to classic but you dont have that toggle. I would like to cooperate with you working on this case. To clarify this case, as further research and investigation from my side, currently New Outlook does not support to export Outlook calendar with CSV or Excel file as the feature is still not available yet. I understand your concerns here but please note Microsoft is constantly working on improving this product and adding more new features and the new Outlook for windows (Preview) version is still under active development. Therefore, I suggest keeping an eye on the Microsoft Outlook blog or the Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365 for any updates on this feature.
In the meantime, I do apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, it is suggested that you may go to New Outlook>Help and check if Go to classic Outlook icon is showing there which help to switch back.
If above workaround is not working, you may consider Toggling out of the new Outlook for Windows preview - Microsoft Support and complete all the steps if could help you to switch back Classic Outlook.
After switching back Classic Outlook, you may check following steps which help to export your Outlook calendar with CSV file easily:
- Export the Calendar to CSV:
- In Outlook, go to your Calendar.
- Click on File > Options > Advanced.
- Scroll down to the Export section and click on Export to a file.
- Choose Comma Separated Values and select your target calendar to save the file as export.csv.
See more information, you may check this article as reference: Import and export Outlook email, contacts, and calendar.
Hope the above workaround would be helpful. If you need further assistance, please feel free to let me know, I will keep assisting you.
Your understanding and patience will be appreciated.
Thank you!
