My emails magically disappear when I open outlook and I cannot find them anymore. Please help!

My emails disappear when I open the account.

I can see them less than one second and then they are gone. The disappeared emails are not in the deleted folder, neither in the archive folder but just gone.

Also the recovery does not bring these emails.

I think somebody is sucking these emails before I can see them. Also my husband sends me emails and I do not receive them.

I have a hotmail account and I use an iPhone or the Mail App on Mac but also outlook on Mac. Would appreciate any help and guidance, the messages I have read in the community did not help. I am using the latest versions of iOS or MAC OS, so this is not the problem. I also do not have any rules in my emails.

    thank you for your feedback.

    On 1: the emails that I am missing are not displayed when I log in on the hotmail.com domain.

    On 2: Tried all that, makes no difference

    On 3: I changed passwords on the account (as somebody told me that this would help). No change

    What is strange ist that when I get the notification, I know that an email came. If I open the email from clicking the notification of the email, I can open it but then it disappears (to God knows where) again very fast. I do not know where it goes as I have no knowing filters installed or no knowing actions installed in outlook that will move the emails somewhere.

    Any other idea that you have? I am not sure I will get any help from Microsoft ... but I will log a question now.

    1. First of all, I would like to explain to you that the emails in Outlook are synchronized with the server side of Outlook. If you are using an email account with a Microsoft domain name (@Outlook.com, @Hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com), You can try logging in to the server side of Outlook **(Outlook.live.com)**to check if all your emails are displayed normally on the server side of Outlook. If you are using a third-party domain email account, you can log in to the server side of the corresponding email to check if this email exists.
    2. You can try changing your device (such as your other computer or mobile phone) to check if your emails can be displayed normally in Outlook. You can also try changing the network environment, such as connecting to other Wi-Fi or a mobile phone hotspot, etc., to check if the emails can be displayed normally.
    3. If none of the above suggestions can help you display your emails properly in Outlook. I can only suggest that you seek assistance from Outlook.com's support staff and check the status of your email account. You can click on Help - Help at Outlook.live.com, then enter your question, and then click Yes under "Still Need Help" below.
