Hello,
Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum. Please accept our warmest regards and sincerest hope that all is well despite the situation you find yourself in.
It sounds like you've already done a lot of troubleshooting—clearing the cache and making sure Chrome is updated are great first steps. Since Outlook.com is still not loading properly on your Chromebook, let's try a few additional fixes:
1. Try Incognito Mode
- Open Chrome and press
Ctrl + Shift + Nto open an Incognito window. - Go to Outlook.com and try logging in.
- If it works in Incognito Mode, the issue may be caused by cookies or extensions.
2. Disable Extensions
- Go to chrome://extensions/ in the Chrome address bar.
- Disable all extensions, then try accessing Outlook again.
- If Outlook loads, re-enable extensions one at a time to find the culprit.
3. Reset Site Permissions
- Open Chrome > click the three-dot menu > Settings > Privacy & Security > Site Settings.
- Scroll down to View Permissions and Data Stored Across Sites > search for Outlook.com.
- Clear permissions and data, then restart Chrome.
4. Flush DNS & Reset Network Settings
- In Chrome, enter chrome://net-internals/#dns and click Clear host cache.
- Restart your Chromebook and try Outlook again.
5. Use Another Browser or Device
- If possible, try Microsoft Edge or another device to see if Outlook is accessible elsewhere.
- If it works on another device but not your Chromebook, reset Chrome by going to:
- Settings > Reset Settings > Restore Settings to Their Original Defaults.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Fordy B.
