How do I get to my email inbox?

It's my personal email, through the web browser on my android phone. No error messages. I used to click on my photo icon in the top right corner then click on my email address under that which would then direct me to my email inbox. Now it directs me to all the Microsoft products, app and other **** that I'm not interested in! I just want to be able to login and get straight to my inbox!!

I haven't been able to get into my Hotmail for several days on my desktop (Windows) computer, I just keep getting the ad. On my cell phone, I've been seeing old emails but no new ones since last Monday.

At my age, I realize I am not tech savvy, but I manage to do all the basics on the computer - email, Google, some apps, Facebook groups, etc. How do I get past the ads to my emails, which include important medical and legal notifications?

The account is a personal account. I am getting an error message.
